『チャンスからディールへ』 は、メリーランド州東海岸に位置するチャンス島とディール島を巡る旅。主に風景作品として、6月から10月にかけての土地、光、海の風景が織りなす視聴覚的リズムを映し出す。
『早春の光』 は「漂う時間の日記」シリーズからのカラースーパー8フィルム作品。最後の3つの映像は、環境保護運動に貢献した作家レイチェル・カーソンのメリーランド州シルバースプリングの自宅で撮影された。
「漂う時間の日記」シリーズ：スーパー8フィルムで探求された漂う瞬間、叙情的な風景、記憶の衝動、風景研究、視覚的記録。
『オリーブ並木通り』 は2024年夏、フランスのアンティーブで撮影された白黒スーパー8フィルム作品。
何世紀もの歴史を持つオリーブの木々。その永遠性と静寂、そして特に現代における脆さを映し出そうとした作品。
Title of event: The shore, the trees, the light the films of Chris H. Lynn at Tanami Theater

1. From Chance to Deal is a journey through Chance and Deal Islands located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Primarily a landscape work, each passage highlights the audiovisual rhythms of land, light and seascapes during the months of June to October.
2. The Light of Early Spring is a color super 8 film from the Journal of Drifting Hours series. The last three images were filmed at Rachel Carson’s home in Silver Spring, Md.
Rachel Carson was an author whose writings contributed to the global environmentalist movement.
The Journal series: Drifting moments, lyrical passages, memory impulses, landscape studies and visual notations explored on super 8 film.
3. Avenue of Olive Trees is a b/w super 8 film recorded in Antibes, France during the summer of 2024.
These olive trees go back centuries and I wanted to highlight their timelessness, their serenity, but also their fragility, especially now.

デジタル撮影及びスーパー8フィルムで撮影された彼の映像は、アメリカのメリーランド州東海岸から中国の南京まで、様々な都市や田園風景における風景を映し出し、動きと光、音の微妙なリズムを探求しています。作品は、中国南京のLibrairie Avant-Garde先鋒書店、イタリア・ミラノのUNZALAB、メリーランド州シルバースプリングのアメリカン・フィルム・インスティテュート（AFI）、ハバナ新ラテンアメリカ国際映画祭（キューバ）、ワシントンD.C.のゲーテ・インスティトゥート、ニューヨークのアンソロジー・フィルム・アーカイブズなどで上映されています。また、ロバート・ロバートソンの著書「Cinema and the Audiovisual Imagination」で取り上げられました。
彼の音響作品は、Impulsive Habitat、Verz Imprint、Green Field Recordings、Kandala Records、Plus Timbre、echOmusicから発表され、世界各国のラジオ番組で放送されています。

Chris H. Lynn is a filmmaker, sound artist, educator, and curator from the United States. His digital images and Super 8 films explore the subtle rhythms of movement, light, and sound in urban and rural landscapes that vary from the Eastern shores of Maryland, U.S. to Nanjing, China. His work has been shown at the Librairie Avant-Garde, Nanjing, China, UNZALAB in Milan, Italy, American Film Institute (AFI) in Silver Spring, Md, Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinamericano Habana, Cuba, Goethe Institut, Washington D.C., The Anthology Film Archives, NYC, and a variety of venues internationally. His work was featured in the book Cinema and the Audiovisual Imagination by Robert Robertson.
His sound works have been published on Impulsive Habitat, Verz Imprint, Green Field Recordings, Kandala Records, Plus Timbre and echOmusic and have appeared on radio programs worldwide.

「THINK 花 + Art」展（2月13日〜3月8日、白浜 nongkrong）での展示作品に用いた映像です。
「THINK 花 + Art」 展のテーマカラー”黒・緑・ピンク・グレー”の４色になぞらえて、４つシーンから構成する熊野の自然の世界観を音と映像で表現している。
<黒>：水源、生命の源、水の生まれるところ。 熊野古道 中辺路の山中、湧き出る水源を水中撮影したもの。
<緑>：春を待つイチョウウキゴケの水中世界。 絶滅危惧種のイチョウウキゴケが越冬する様子を水中撮影したものを映像素材にしている。
<ピンク>：高塚の森、巨大な生命のネットワークの様に風に揺れる樹冠。 串本・高塚の森の風に揺れる樹冠に、生命のつながりを観る。
<グレー>：生命のゆりかご、月の満ち欠け。 生命のゆりかご、月の満ち欠けをテーマにしたアニメーション。
“4-color sounds grain of nature” (approx. 20 minutes)
This video was exhibited at the “THINK Flower + Art” exhibition (February 13 – March 8, at Shirahama nongkrong). Using sound and visuals, this work expresses the natural worldview of Kumano through four scenes, corresponding to the theme colors of the “THINK Flower + Art” exhibition: black, green, pink, and gray.
<Black>: Water source, origin of life, where water is born. Underwater filming of a spring bubbling up in the mountains along the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi route.
<Green>: The underwater world of Icho-ukigoke (water clover) waiting for spring. Video material features the endangered Icho-ukigoke (Salvinia natans) during its winter dormancy, captured through underwater filming.
<Pink>: The forest of Takatsuka, with tree canopies swaying in the wind like a giant network of life. Observing the connections of life in the wind-swayed tree canopies of Kushimoto’s Takatsuka Forest.
<Gray>: The cradle of life, the waxing and waning of the moon. An animation themed around the cradle of life and the lunar cycle.

福島正知が提唱するサウンドアートプロジェクト。聴こえる音とそれ以外の物事との間に潜む幽玄な世界、“あわい”の世界観を探求する。中辺路を拠点に、熊野の自然に身を委ねた暮らしから得た知見を基に、楽曲制作、ライブ演奏、サウンドインスタレーション展示等を展開している。
